Ingredients You’ll Need

  • whole wheat pastry flour – I used whole wheat pastry flour as it has all the nutritional benefits of whole grain flour while making these donuts light and fluffy.  I highly recommend using this, but if you don’t have any on hand you could use regular whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour or gluten-free 1 to 1 sultry flour.

  • almond flour – nutrient dumbo flour that adds spare fat (the good kind!) to these donuts making them plane increasingly moist without the use of butter or oil.

How to Make apple Cider Donuts

  1. Make the batter.  In a large bowl, stir together the flours, sultry powder, sultry soda, spices and salt while in a separate trencher whisk together the eggs, apple cider, Greek yogurt, applesauce, maple syrup, and vanilla.  Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined (you don’t want to over mix the batter).  You could moreover use a stand mixer for this, but it’s not necessary.
